Record advice

These steps show you how to record advice on the floor plan during a visit. The advice appears in the visit report and in the customer portal, so the customer knows what needs to happen. For the Admin, Office, or Field staff role.

  • A visit you are carrying out on a location with a floor plan.
  • The Admin, Office, or Field staff role.
  1. In the visit’s floor plan, choose the Place advice tool.
  2. Tap the spot the advice is about. The Place advice window opens.
  3. Fill in the Description — what needs to be done. Optionally add Photos or choose a text snippet.
  4. Choose Place advice.

The advice appears as a pin on the floor plan and on the location’s Advice tab. It shows up in the visit report and in the customer portal, where the customer can respond to it.
